The risk assessment matrix is a map where specific cyber security risks are plotted, based on the probability they will occur (Likelihood) and the impact they will have to the organisation (Consequence/Impact).
When controls are assessed for your business Assuredly calculates risk scores and maps against your businesses risk matrix.
Business and Professional account holders can make changes to the risk matrix to align it with their unique company profile.
You can adjust the impact and likelihood descriptions of financial, staff, customer, legal/regulatory and operational risk as they relate to your business and adjust the risk rating placements and names used to described Impact and Likelihoods.
Here is how to make changes to the risk matrix:
1. Select Edit Labels
2. Go to each Impact title and select from pre-defined list of options.
3. Select Save Changes.

2. Go to each of the existing ratings and select a rating from the pre-defined list of options. Don’t worry about where it is located on the matrix you can adjust this in the next step.
3. Select Save Changes.
1. Select Edit Risk Levels
2. Use the plus and minus button son either side of each risk rating to select from the risk rsting names you applied in the previous step.
3. You will notice that you cant make a Rare/Minor risk rating High and make a Possible/Major Risk Rating Low because this wouldn’t make sense and is a safety feature we have built in to ensure you have a working risk model.
1. Select New Consequence+ or Edit under actions next to the impact description or name you wish to edit.
2. Create name or edit fields as required.
3. Select Create or Save.
1. Select edit next to the likelihood **descriptions** that you would like to edit.
2. Edit the description for each rating.
3. Select save.
