The Reports feature is the perfect way for your business to understand its security controls.
Reports can help your business understand how it is going against a range of standards.
In the reports page, you are also able to view and customise your key information security capabilities with customers or auditors, so that they can get access to the important information when they need to.
Below is a guide on some of the most important Reporting features.
Creating a Report Based On Our Recommended Templates
When you are creating a report for a completed section, it may be handy to use a report template as a baseline.
To use a template:
In the reports page of your company, select New Report
Fill in the required sections on the New Report page
Select a template from 'Start from Template' dropdown menu
When you click select 'Create Report' it will automatically load the template into the reports page
Creating Your Own Templates
Once you have created a report from scratch or from a template you can save the report as your own custom template.
If you wish to use your own template for future reports, in the top right corner select 'Mark as Template….'
By clicking on this box, a prompt appears which asks for a 'Template Name'
After typing the template name in, complete the action by selecting 'Mark as Template'.
The template will now appear in the ' 'Start from Template' dropdown menu when you next create a report.
Deleting a Created Template
To delete a created report template, all you have to do is simply select the 'Unmark as Template' box in the top right corner of the page.
How Can I Navigate My Report?
The report page has many navigational functions implemented into it that makes it simpler for the user choose where they want to go in the report and how they want to layout their report.
Once a user has added items onto the report page, up and down arrows will appear on the left of the box. These arrows allow the user to customise the order of their items in the report.
If a user wishes to delete an item on the report page, the x function that appears in the top left of the box will allow them to do this
If a user wishes to jump straight to a section within the reports page, the navigation panel on the left will allow them to do this.
Other Functionalities Of The Navigation Panel:
The ability to hide/unhide sections be clicking the arrow in the panel
If you want to find out which section you are viewing on the report, in the navigation panel when a section is bolded and highlighted it shows the section that is being viewed
Creating Tables That Suit Your Business' Needs
In the report functionality, the user has the option to add a table into each main section. These tables provide an in-depth view of your business regarding the particular section you have selected.
To add a table:
Select the section you want to create
Select add item, this shows you the options you may add to that section
In the options bar that appears, if you want to add a table, select an option with the table icon next to it, this is shown below in the red box
Once a table has been selected, it will populate the section with a table that is relevant to the section it is under.
You can check which boxes you want to appear in each field
In the drop-down menus and the ‘Filter by Text’ box you can filter a column by a particular field you want
Why Are The Fields In My Table Pre-Populated?
Now you might ask yourself when a new table is created, why are there fields already selected? No need to worry! These are the main fields that InfoSecAssure thinks your business will find most relevant to the table.
How Do I Export My Report To PDF or Word?
To do this:
