If none of the Global report Templates meet your needs you can create your own custom report template.
What happens when I create a Report Template?
When you create a report template you and anyone else in your organisation can create a new report based on that template.
When you mark a report as a template the all of the text and tables and graphs that you created in your report template will be recreated if a user selects this report template from the template drop down menu.
Items in a report that are saved in the template:
Cover
All tables
All Graphs i.e Maturity Overview, Bar Graph, Bubble Graph
Text - All Text sections and all text you have added to the report.
All general Sections i.e. Business Impact Statements, Team, Risk Framework, Process Model
Creating Your Own Templates
Once you have created a report from scratch or from a template you can save the report as your own custom template.
If you wish to use your own template for future reports, in the top right corner select 'Mark as Template….'
By clicking on this box, a prompt appears which asks for a 'Template Name'
After typing the template name in, complete the action by selecting 'Mark as Template'.
The template will now appear in the ' 'Start from Template' dropdown menu when you next create a report.
Finding a Report Template
In the Reports page all reports that have been flagged as a report template will have a icon next to the report with a star and the name of the template.
Deleting a Created Template
To delete a created report template, all you have to do is simply select the 'Unmark as Template' box in the top right corner of the page.
On the New Report page, if no templates are found the 'Start from Template' section will no longer appear. If there are other templates still being used, the 'Start from Template' section will appear but will only show templates that you want to keep.
